The neck skin condition often reveals age. Aging signs development in this area is determined by a number of factors:
The main requests that patients make for correction of this area are skin tightening and wrinkle depth reduction. The request satisfaction is impossible without correction of changes in the skin connective tissue structures.
COLLOST® collagen preparations allow creating a collagen reserve in the dermis. The COLLOST® Micro preparation contains 150 mg of collagen and, thanks to the patented MicronONIC® technology, activates neocollagenesis, and, thanks to the PoliONICol® technology, activates tissue hydration — this is the initial stage of working with the neck skin. At the final stage, COLLOST® 15 % gel helps reduce the depth of wrinkles.

For the purpose of correcting the neck area, the product COLLOST® Micro, hydrated with 0.9% sodium chloride solution, and the product COLLOST® 15% gel are used. Depending on the volume of sodium chloride used, the percentage of collagen obtained during hydration of COLLOST® Micro can vary from 3 % (dilution of 5 ml of 0.9 % sodium chloride solution) to 10 % (dilution of 1.5 ml of 0.9 % sodium chloride solution). The course consists of three procedures carried out at intervals of two weeks.
The first procedure — COLLOST® Micro, one bottle, diluted in 2.5 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride.
The second procedure — COLLOST® Micro, one bottle, diluted in 1.5 ml of 0.9 % sodium chloride.
The third procedure — COLLOST® 15 % gel, one syringe, 1 ml.
1. Make-up removal, skin cleansing with gentle products without acids and fragrances.
2. Face treatment with 0.05 % chlorhexidine bigluconate solution.
3. Application anesthesia with the product «Akriol Pro», exposure — 30 minutes.
4. Injection of hydrated preparations using the papular intradermal injections technique, 32G needle for COLLOST® Micro preparations (the first and the second procedures) and 30G for COLLOST® 15 % gel (the third procedure).
The procedure performing technique [Photo 1]:
• Along the static horizontal wrinkles of the neck, injections are performed using the micropapular injection technique, papule by papule, creating a single line resembling a necklace [Photo 3].
• Between the designated lines, injections are performed using the dense papular injections technique: the first procedure — at a distance of 2 mm from each other [Photo 5], the second and the third procedures — at a distance of 3-4 mm. Between the lines marked with a marker, injections are performed using the micropapular injection technique at a distance of 2 mm from each other.
5. Face treatment with 0.05 % chlorhexidine bigluconate solution.
6. Application of anti-inflammatory cream (Bepanten, La Roshe Posay Cicaplast, Traumeel).

The developed protocol using COLLOST® Micro and COLLOST® 15 % gel can be effectively used as a procedure for improving skin quality and rejuvenating the neck.

Immediately after the procedure, the formation of papules is noted, which is a normal reaction to the introduction of collagen preparations [Photo 7]. Thanks to the use of micropapular injection technique, the rehabilitation period is shortened and the number of post-procedural hematomas is minimized [Photo 8].
